讲座报告主题：Synthesis of Functional Smart Hybrid Materials
主讲概况：Dirk Kuckling现为德国帕德博恩大学教授，同时担任IEEE Sensor Journal主编及多个国际刊物编委。其研究内容主要涉及材料生物电子、传感科学、燃料电池、生物分子信息学等多个领域。已在国际知名刊物上发表论文300余篇。研究专长：智能材料。
主讲内容：Although technological and scientific importance of functional polymers have been well established over the last few decades, the most recent focus that attracted much attention are stimuli-responsive polymers. Here, different approaches to prepare devices based on thin layers of smart hydrogels will be presented. For instance, temperature responsive films with LCST or UCST behavior were combined with pH responsive hydrogels. Their application in sensors and actuators were demonstrated. Further, an alternative way to synthesize mesoporous Al2O3 by using hydrogels as porogenic material is presented. Hydrogels can easily be patterned by light and used to imprint their structure onto alumina opening a new approach to fabricate patterned Al2O3. Followed by a nanocasting process mesoporous alumina samples were synthesized.
