讲座报告主题：From coherent dynamics to chaos: Josephson effect with ultracold atoms
主讲概况：龚明教授现任中国科学技术大学光学与光学工程系教授，主要从事量子计算、量子模拟、拓扑量子计算以及多体物理等方面研究，在Nature communications，Phys. Rev. Lett等期刊发表论文50多篇，被SCI引用1100多次（google scholar）。
主讲内容：In this talk, I will discuss two of our recent works about Josephson effect in ultracold atoms. In the first work, I will discuss the realization of Josephson effect in the spin-orbit coupled system in a trap. In the second work, I will discuss the oscillating and trapping dynamics in a two component system coupled to a high-Q cavity, in which we show that the fluctuation of the cavity field can fundamentally change the stability of the fixed points, thus influence their corresponding dynamics. We confirm these results using numerical Gross-Pitaevskii equation simulation. The new physics in the cavity-BEC system, including limit cycle and chaos, will also be briefly discussed.
