主讲概况:陆永枫,内布拉斯加大学林肯分校教授。主要从事激光光谱检测、激光材料处理和纳米制造加工技术研究,拥有超过20年的研究经验,研究项目获得了NSF, AFOSR, ONR, DTRA, DOE, DO T, NCESR, NRI, 私人企业及基金会的资助,在过去的数年间,获得超过2500万美金的科研经费。共发表300余篇期刊学术论文和400余篇国际会议论文。教育部长江学者奖励计划讲座教授,曾获包括德国国际激光奖(International Laser Award)等6项激光界最主要的国际性奖励和新加坡国家科技奖(当年唯一获奖人)。并曾多次担任激光领域主要国际学术会议的主席,包括2007年和2008年的激光与光电子应用国际大会(ICALEO),2014年至2017年的美国西部光博会-激光会议等。

主讲内容:Lasers can be used to deliver energy with extremely wide spectral, spatial, and temporal ranges, providing many opportunities for materials science and engineering. In this presentation, the speaker will highlight recent advances in the advantages of spectral , spatial, and temporal control for the lasers synthesis, nanofabrication and chemical imaging of nanostructured materials in various forms. The advantages of lasers in the synthesis of carbon nanomaterials will be presented, ranging from laser-excited vibrational resonances of precursor molecules to enable diamond growth in open air, to the formation of 2D graphene patterns on dielectric surfaces, and the laser assembly of aligned carbon nanotubes in 3D. In addition, the advantages of lasers for chemical imaging will be presented, including open-air laser-assisted mass spectrometry for post-detonation nuclear forensics, ultrafast nonlinear imaging of 2D materials, and coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy and imaging for biomedical applications. Finally the unique advantages of lasers for additive and subtractive 3D nanofabrication will be presented.
